General Agreement
Our Terms and Conditions concern all tours, products, and services provided by Trail Tales (licensed by the Greek Tourism National Organisation). These apply to direct sales, third-party partners, and resellers.
By confirming a booking, the designated contact person accepts these terms on behalf of all clients in the booking (including minors). We strongly recommend reading the specific trip details on our website prior to booking.
Your Details – Privacy Policy
To confirm a booking, you must provide personal details (passport name, number, DOB, nationality, expiry, payment info, etc.).
Data Usage: Personal info is used strictly for your booking (tours, events). Contact details may be used by Trail Tales for marketing offers and product updates.
Validity & Flexibility
Prices cannot be changed after reservation. However, dates, itineraries, and programs are indicative. You acknowledge that adventure travel requires flexibility. Routes, schedules, and amenities may change without notice due to local circumstances.
Note: Any emergency itinerary alterations after departure resulting in extra costs will be covered by you.
Bookings, Payments & Cancellation Policy
Deposit: A 30% deposit is required to confirm. The balance is due at the latest on the day of the tour. Lead name must be 18+.

Amendments by You
We will try to accommodate changes subject to availability (extra costs may apply). No changes allowed within 15 days of departure. No amendments within 7 days. Transfers to more expensive tours require an additional deposit.
Amendments / Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to alter itineraries due to unexpected occurrences (weather, strikes, etc.). If a significant change is made, you may:
- Accept the new arrangements.
- Purchase another available tour.
- Cancel with a full refund.
You must notify us within 7 days, otherwise, we assume acceptance.
Force Majeure
Includes war, riots, terrorism, natural/nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather, etc. If we cancel due to Force Majeure, we cannot pay compensation or expenses incurred. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
Participation Requirements
Age: 15-65 years. Under 18 requires adult accompaniment and written parental consent.
Medical: Good physical/mental health is essential. You must notify us of conditions requiring treatment. We assume no liability for medical care.
Behavior: Illegal acts or behavior causing danger/distress will result in immediate termination of the trip without refund.
Equipment: We provide high-end Mountain Bikes/Gear. You are responsible for damage. Gear must be returned in the condition received.
Liability & Risk
Acceptance of Risk: Clients acknowledge adventurous tours involve risk (injury, remote areas, forces of nature). You release Trail Tales from claims regarding these inherent risks.
- We accept responsibility if arrangements are deficient due to our failure to use reasonable skill/care.
- We are not liable for third-party actions (airlines, optional excursions) or unforeseeable events.
- Liability is limited to the price paid for the tour (excluding insurance/admin charges).
- Responsibility commences at the designated meeting point.
Insurance & Legal
Insurance: Mandatory medical insurance covering mountain biking. Recommended: cancellation, repatriation, luggage coverage.
Documents: You are responsible for valid passports/visas. Check Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Complaints: Must be made to the guide immediately. Written complaints within 14 days of departure.
Image Release: We may use photos/videos of you for promotion unless you notify us in writing at the start of the tour.
Applicable Law: Courts of Thessaloniki, Greece.
